- Forgive me if I'm a bit rusty. I installed a "upgrade WD -08" in a 2091 for a
- friend of mine. I was not being careful enough and bent a pin over to contact
- another one. I fried one of the small IC's on the board. I think it was a 74
- series IC (IE 74LS or 74HCT or just 74). I removed the old one with
- de-soldering wick and installed a machined socket. The whole ordeal cost me
- $2.00.
